My Guardian Angel

Last Friday, the entire world has been turned upside down by the great earthquake in Japan's Tohoku region. For the whole week, I have been glued to online news and video streaming by NHK, and the scenes I saw has been heartbreaking. However, I find it admirable to see how evacuees share food and help each other.

All of these inspired me to put together this pair of earrings. Looking in to my stash of jewelry materials, I found a strand of gorgeous heart shaped rose quartz beads, along with some pearls and a pair of wing bead findings. Suddenly I envisioned the image of a pair of guardian angels with the materials. The pearls and swarovski crystals dangle and sparkle along with your movement and the pink from rose quartz gives people a sweet and light hearted feeling.

I believe that there is good and kindness in humanity. Anyone of us can be other's guardian angels.

Hang in there, Japan, 頑張ってください!!

I will be listing this pair of earrings on my Etsy store shortly. Part of the proceeds will be donated to help earthquake victims.

Jenny, thanks for the compliment! I grow up in an environment that people just cared about themselves, and I don't think this is how human being supposed to be...

I just hope to make use of the talents I am given with and use them for a better cause!
