One of my recent beauty hauls is Jill Stuart new spring color for 2011, Jewel Crystal Eyes in 07 Sweet Amethyst.
This is a quad palette with a pale purple, pale pink, a light brown with a reddish tint, and a deeper brown for lining, all with shimmers and a nice rose scent to the eyeshadow.

Trying the eyeshadow out on my eyes, under direct sunlight:
And under the lamp, you can see the glitters better:
The casing for the eyeshadow, needless to say, is a classy "princessy" kind of packaging, as Jill Stuart cosmetic is trademark for. Though some people didn't like the feel of cheap plastic that Jill Stuart eyeshadow is housed in, I am fine with it.
For the quality of the powders, it's not the most pigmented type of eyeshadow, but it actually performs better than the KATE or MJ eyeshadows I own. The texture of this powder is nice, not chalky at all, as it is creamy with a little bit of perfumed fragrance in it. The glitters are quite fine and not much fall out is noticeable with this palette.
Overall I like this eyeshadow palette, just that I think the pinks and purples that is quite common with Jill Stuart eyeshadow collections is not meant for me, as I think I am better with warm earth tones for my skin tone (I'm a NC 30). Regardless, I still think that this light purple hue is nice for the much anticipated spring here :)

Nice review:D I agree with you.. warm tone suits me well too and naturally..The case is cute:D
Jie Jie, I think we have similar skintone? I think pastel colors are pretty, but not too flattering on me... sob... only if I am a bit paler...
thanks for visiting my blog!!
I'm following you now :)
This palette is so pretty! looks great on you.
Eva, thanks for following! The palette is lovely, but a bit too much pastel for me... I think natural tones suits my skintone better...
Hmm.. I think so:D Ya, I also wish I have flawless skin too :'(
Jie Jie, you live in the tropics... it's harder to get pale there!!! so i generally like brown tones because they work with my "healthy" skintone better...
