Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Foundation SPF 25

Yes, we went to the outlets again, and I did some damages to my wallet. At the Cosmetic Store Company, I hauled a few items for myself and also for my friends. This Bobbi Brown extra repair foundation caught my attention as I sampled it at the back of my hand.

At $38.50, it's not ridiculously cheap, but comparing to a hefty $55 at Neiman Marcus department store, $38.50 for 30 ml of product seems very reasonable!

Though the description of this product said this is for dry or very dry skin, and while I have combination skin, I experience dryness during times I have allergies.

This product is a thick cream with a lovely scent to it (actually I found out later from the ingredients list that this nice scent comes from natural fragrance oils like primrose, rosemary, etc...) I am really loving this scent!

The color I picked is in 2 Sand. Swatching it at the back of my hand:

Spreading it outwards, it seems a little light at this point:

Fully blended into my skin, the repair foundation matches the color of my skintone pretty well.

And a little bit of this repair foundation goes a long way. So the 30ml jar will last a long time!

Description of the product on the box packaging:

NEW Extra Repair Foundation SPF 25 gives skin perfect coverage, moisture, and broad-spectrum sun protection. Infused with Shea Butter and Evening Primrose Oil, this does-it-all formula combines all the skin-nourishing benefits of Bobbi's Extra Skincare with the skin tone-correct color and buildable coverage of her foundations. This feel-good formula is extra emollient to instantly "melt" into skin and give it a fresh, healthy glow. Over time, it also helps replenish and strengthen skin.
Ideal for dry and very dry skin types.

Its ingredients list:

A whole bunch of natural oils and hence the lovely therapeutic scent. And yay for no parabens!

good deal! I have not tried any foundation which has natural oils in it.. I wonder if it would be oily after few hours..

I don't think this will be suitable for humid climate... I use this when my skin is peeling/feeling really dry and most likely for ac conditions/dry winter months....

but the scent is really heavenly!
