Ultimate iPhone 4 case, No.2

Remember a while ago, I made this one-of-its-kind iPhone case for my iPhone 4?

Well, now it's two-of-its-kind.

A friend saw the picture of the iPhone case I posted on my facebook album. He contacted me and asked if I can make one for his wife's birthday which is in early April.

I even embroidered her name at the back of the case, just like how I did for my case:

Last photo I take of the twins together before they are separated for thousands of miles apart:

My friend insisted to wire me money for the material cost. I told him no. Felt is relatively cheap and I told him if he wanted to pay, he should have gone to Etsy which they are sold for about $35-$40. It took me about 3 days to complete the case and it's the love and care that I put into the making of it that cannot be valued with money. I said to him that as long as the phone case is being cherished and in good hands, that's the best repayment to me.

(Actually the thought of getting paid for $40 for 3 days worth of work makes me feel like I am one of those less deprived kids working in factories somewhere out in western China.... this is not a good feeling at all!)

Oh my!! That's an amazing piece of work!! Puts my own sewing to shame. Did you take up any sewing lessons prior?

@Jeniceo: welcome to my blog! Thanks for the compliment! I had compulsory needlework classes in my early secondary school years for maybe 1-2 years, but that's about it.... it's all practice I get from the past few years for doing crafty DIY projects... remember, practice makes perfect!
